My name is Cody Jenkins, and I am a student counselor working towards my Master's in Counseling at Northwestern University. I use an integrative and person-centered approach, working with each client as an individual to help them meet their goals and find a greater sense of acceptance, fulfillment, and connection in their life. I help facilitate positive change by drawing from sources such as Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic, Humanistic, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, among other techniques such as mindfulness. My aim as your therapist is to build a genuine, trusting, and supportive connection, and to foster an environment where you can safely explore your experiences and relationships. Throughout this process, I will support you and work with you collaboratively to promote healing and self-discovery.
As a professional, I am most interested in treating adolescent and adult individuals experiencing issues of depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma, sexuality, relationship issues, low self-esteem, or difficult life transitions. If you are struggling with these or other issues, and would like a place where you can feel heard and respected, reach out through phone or email today and find the support you deserve. I offer free consultations so that you can decide if we would be a good fit.
