We have thousands of thoughts a day. Sometimes it seems like our thoughts, memories, and emotions of sadness, worry, confusion, irritability, anger, self-doubt (to name a few!) are all consuming. Our thoughts can leave us feeling stuck and prevent us from finding meaning and contentment in our daily lives. In therapy, we can work together to honor these thoughts, memories, and emotions, no matter how painful, while learning to move forward with self-compassion and hope.

I believe strongly in unconditional regard and the power of repair when we can express ourselves and feel seen, heard, and understood.  I encourage feedback if I get something wrong. Empathy, curiosity, understanding, and a sense of humor are what I strive to offer in a supportive and nonjudgmental counseling space. 

 

Depending on your questions, needs, goals, and aspirations, I use an integrative, collaborative approach within a psychodynamic framework to understand the roots of your pain and work toward healing and a sense of wholeness.
