Tomilade Canty, (Tomi)
Do you ever feel like your emotions feel so heavy that it’s hard to talk about them? Are you struggling with your identity and need guidance in discovering who you are? Or, are you facing challenges of everyday life and having a hard time navigating them? I’ve been in these positions before and I want to help you get where you want to be in life. I am a Counseling Intern at Northwestern University where I will soon be graduating with a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Over the past couple of years I have been training to work with a diverse group of individuals and couples, with an emphasis on children and adolescents.
I provide a warm, nonjudgmental, empathetic, and caring space for my clients to feel seen and be heard. I take a Person-Centered approach with clients as everyone is different and needs to be cared for according to their challenges in life. I want the people I work with to feel that they’re not alone in achieving their goals towards their healing journey. Safety and security are my main priorities in working with any individual. If my approach resonates with you and you’re interested in working with me as your counselor, please reach out today to schedule a free consultation.
